Privacy Policy

EightK Research is operated by 3 Amigos Holdings LLC (“EightK,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and delete information when you use eightk.co and related EightK services.
Information we collect
We collect account information you provide, such as your name and email address; authentication and security records; subscription, entitlement, and transaction metadata; product usage events; saved watchlists, models, API keys, and research preferences; and technical information reasonably necessary to operate and secure the service. Payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored directly by EightK.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure EightK, authenticate users, process subscriptions, enforce usage limits, deliver watchlist alerts and transactional messages, support customers, understand product performance, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. Product analytics are first-party and are designed not to store raw research prompts in the analytics event stream.
Service providers
We use service providers where necessary to operate EightK, including Cloudflare for infrastructure and transactional email, Stripe for payments, and model or data providers used to deliver research features. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy obligations.
Sale and advertising
EightK does not sell personal information. We do not use sensitive financial research activity for third-party targeted advertising. If we add optional advertising or additional analytics providers in the future, this policy will be updated before those practices apply.
Retention and deletion
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. You can permanently delete your account from the Account page. Account deletion cancels active personal subscriptions and removes authentication credentials, saved models, watchlists, and API keys. Limited de-identified audit records and transaction records may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, tax, accounting, chargeback, or other legal obligations. Backup copies may persist for a limited period until they are overwritten in the ordinary course.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can manage watchlist alerts and account data in the product. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing privacy@eightk.co. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including verified-email authentication, secure session cookies, scoped API credentials, and restricted production configuration. No service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
EightK is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as EightK evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
